four square champions

Chris Glasser [Junior Faculty '05-'07] won the men's Four Square World Championship on February 28, in Bridgton, ME. Going up against 58 other competitors, Chris advanced through two elimination rounds to qualify for the final, where he won in overtime by a single point. Amazingly enough, Chris is in fact the second Explo alum to claim the four square world title. Jasper Turner [Senior Faculty '02-'05] started the proud tradition of Exploration Four Square World Champions with his win in 2007.

Christian Housh [Intermediate Faculty '95-'99] recently claimed the Cambridge, MA SquareFour League Championship. Christian's title for the 2008-09 season is his second consecutive league crown. Christian (who goes by the pseudonym "Tiger Claw" on the court) has also been a Four Square World Championships finalist in years past. In 2008 he finished in the top 5, and in 2007 he was the world runner-up to Jasper. We're sure it's only a matter of time before he too wins the title, adding himself to the ranks of the Explo elite.

Congrats to all -- Chris, Jasper, and Tiger Claw!
