Lynn Kenney Markan [Senior Student '79] is a pediatric psychologist who has written extensively on the family and the challenges of parenting. She is the founder of Real Time Moms, host of Baby Basics on BabyFirstTV, and star of Parenting Essential: 10 Steps to More Confident Parenting.  

  Heidi Pesky Worcester [Senior Student '79] is the co-author of the Beryl E. Bean children’s book series.

Andrea Silverman Meyer [Senior Student '86, Faculty '89] is the author of the recently-published Mama Knows Breast: A Beginner’s Guide to Breastfeeding. A mom herself, Andrea lives with her family in New York City and is a journalist, lawyer, and blogger.

Dina Cheney [Senior Student '93] is a chef and the author of Tasting Club, a do-it-yourself guide to themed tasting parties. Her food writing has appeared in Fine Cooking, Everyday with Rachel Ray, and Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, among others. Visit her homepage at cookingbyheart.com.  

  Beechwood, an American bistro that is the brainchild of chef duo Brooke Williamson [Senior Student '93] and Nick Roberts, has opened in Venice, CA, to rave reviews. It was named an “essential restaurant” by LA Weekly and was featured in the LA Times’s “Latest and Greatest LA Restaurants.”

Ryan Pace [Senior Student '87, Faculty '91-'94] is a partner at Anderson & Kreiger, LLP in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Ryan serves as counsel for non-profit organizations, families, and individuals on financing, land use, and permitting for real estate planning projects.  

  Jason Criss [Senior Faculty '94, '96], an associate for Covington & Burling, LLP in New York City specializing in media law, advises journalists on news-gathering issues and has represented media clients in First Amendment and defamation cases. In addition, from 2002 to 2004, Jason coordinated Covington & Burling’s pro bono representation of families of 9/11 rescue workers.

Marni Rachich [Intermediate Student '90] recently joined Beatty & Wozniak, PC in Denver. Marni also is a member of the Denver Roller Dolls, a roller derby team, through which she volunteers for a range of community projects, including advocating for animal rights issues.
